Countdown to Christmas

Our favorite time of year is passing all too quickly! We had our traditional visit with Santa at Fashion Island, a festive ugly sweater party, (Brandon won!) and a beautiful wedding in Arizona, which included an adorable flower girl (Ella Bella!) Congratulations Kelley and David!

6 days to go.......

Rollin' in the MIS-MIS Spirit

We are in the "Mis-Mis" spirit around here! Decorating cookies, sledding at the Community Center, cozy time with the Grapes....Jolly good fun.

Seeing double? Some boys like to wear their costumes or capes. I would love it if he was really into wearing a mask and a cape but Brooks just wants to wear what Cannon wears. This flannel is a big deal because he is not a fan of long sleeves but he he makes an exception for matching his big brother.

.:Cookies at Ami and Papa's:.

If we send out a Christmas card, chances are it will look something like this. Two out of three blinked at the right time. Pretty good odds.
Rudolph Booty!

Brooks is having some special snuggle time with the Grapes. The boys love a Grape sandwich. Not pictured is Cannon, mad-doggin Brooks and hovering, waiting for his turn.

We are visiting Santa this week! Yahoo! Excitement and mischief coming soon!

A Nibble of November

November blew by! In brief summary (and chronological order) there was rain, there was illness, there was turkey! It was also Lola's first Thanksgiving!!
Rainy days do not bode well for most members of this family, especially little boys that wake up with their hands on the front door. Brooks got a nasty fever that left little gifts...Terrible, nasty fever blisters...in his mouth. Absolutely horrendous, if only sympathy could quicken the healing process. After that week we were off, enjoying greener pastures. Brooks could eat again and everyone was sleeping again. So, here are some snippets of our month; all pretty random.

I forgot to mention that Cannon changed his name to "Worm Hunter."

Who's that girl?!

*Insert goofy cornball smile here*

I buy twenty apples and four-five bunches of bananas. Give these guys 4 days. Gone.

Special lady alert! Marianne, a.k.a Isa! Our favorite cousin :) They were discussing their Tea-party 2013. No boys allowed.

Except Cannon.

Happy December!

"That's Smooky!"

This is the most noble picture taken on Halloween; Courtesy of the Jolly Green Giant.

For Lola's first Halloween we ventured into the streets of the notorious LB...Laguna Beach. Yes, they give out candy, no wheatgrass shots to my dismay. In LB they block off a few streets so the kids can run wild, zig-zag house to house without fear of traffic. The neighborhood really goes all out- Incredible decorations and haunted houses. *Bonus* The kids even met a celebrity (R2D2)! When the witching hour tolled we were homeward bound for a grand finale of Hocus Pocus and Casper. We like to keep things "smooky"on Halloween.

(Some cute cabooses pulling up the rear.)

Most Festive Award, no doubt.
