Lola Love!

We cannot figure out who she resembles more! Sometimes she looks like Brooksie and then another, Cannon. Suppose she is just the perfect little mix. The boys have adjusted better than we could have expected. I was nervous for little Brooksie Boy because he loves to pull me where he wants me and get outside as soon as possible but he has transitioned into my littler helper. He throws away diapers, brings me blankies and gives Lola lots of juicy kisses. Cannon can't get enough holding time and loves to rub her tummy. This morning he sang her "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and when she fusses he remedies with "Sh sh sh sh." They love their big brother roles.

Last night our friends, the Andersons, a.k.a The Ferders, brought us a delish dinner and we let the kids run wild past bedtime. Party!

ZOOOOOO!

Brandon got sneaky and planned a surprise trip to the zoo:) When the boys realized where they were it was priceless! Cannon was screaming and jumping while Brooks fed off of his brother's excitement and did his own happy dance. It was the boys' first visit and they ran through the place start to finish. No stroller necessary for this trip. Brandon and I could only last 6 hours but we had to pry the boys out with promises of a treat. I am so glad Brandon planned this adventure, it was definitely a "best day ever" kind of day.

Family Night!

The Montoya transport system to the Spectrum. We like to keep things cozy. (We strapped Alexa to the roof :) )
